Mark Knight Shoot

Mark Knight is increasingly becoming one of the biggest DJs/Producers in world. After last years club smash "Man With The Red Face" he is currently riding high in the charts with his remix of the new Faithless track "Music Matters" (Faithless have actually just signed to Mark's own label Toolroom)

I have photographed Mark for the last 2 years, so it was nice to get the call again. We decided on 3 locations for the shoot. One was a dirty skanky doorway in Shordich, the other was at the Ministry Of Sound. My favorite though was at the last location, a club in Vauxhall called the Lightbox

As you can see by the pics the club is visually amazing, with the whole dance floor covered in LED lights. It was a challenge to get the shot right as i really wanted the lights to play a major part of the shoot. We tried loads of different colors and set ups, but as you can see by my fave pic I think we got there in the end.

With some help from my assistant James we managed to film the day in HD video, using Canons new 5D Mark II camera. It's an amazing bit of kit, look out on my website soon for the behind the scenes video of the shoot.
