As I have wrote in the past to me shooting a magazine cover is the best job I can get commissioned to do. The buzz of seeing it on the shelf afterwards is hard to beat. This would be around my 30th cover for DJ Mag and I feel really honoured that I have done that many. The artists featured this month are new Techno superstars Blawan and Pariah. These guys were so sound and a real pleasure to photograph and I think this may have been only their second ever shoot, but I couldn't tell. We shot it at the Oval Space, which is a new venue in East London. Cracking place and the guys that ran it were all really nice and helpful.
We managed to get it all done in around 2 hours, I tried to get at least 3 different looks for the article and I'm really happy how it all came out. Below is the finished piece that would be in the mag and I have also included the original shots and a couple of faves. Hope you like :)
