The Stone Roses - Heaton Park

This was a gig that I thought I would never see. I was made up when they announced in 2011 that they were reforming, after many years of fall outs between band members. The Roses performed over three nights to around 200,000 people at Manchester's Heaton Park. The gig I was at was amazing, I really did not know what to expect as in the past I had seen Ian Brown live and he was not that great. However his vocal was spot on and the band put on a great show. The night I had a pass for the heavens opened just before they went on but it did not put a dampener (sorry for the pun) on anything. Production for the event was as expected amazing and really happy with the images I got.

I also shot Beady Eye who were supporting the Roses. These images will be blogged in the next few weeks.  All in all an amazing day, which I will never forget. I think this will be in my top 10 gigs of all time :)
