Pioneer Ibiza Calendar 2012

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook you would have seen that I was backwards and forwards to Ibiza all summer.  I was again involved in photographing all the images for the Pioneer DJ Calender. The calender is a large A3 size and is 24 high gloss pages which features famous DJs, clubbers, dancers and shows the impact Pioneer has on the island. It's distributed worldwide and are given to people that buy the Pioneer equipment and through the music industry. It will also will be distributed for free around Ibiza.

This season has to be the best one that I have ever shot, the whole island was buzzing and so busy. For me Ushuaia was amazing, a venue that rocked every time I went there, visually amazing and different to anything that is on the island at the moment. IMS was also special as it was the beginning of the season and it was good to catch up with everybody

I think my favourite shot of the year was the image of Ushuaia (1st pic below), it was shot from the hotel next door. The venue was going off and you can see for miles around up there. 

My second favourite shot of the season is the dancer at Pacha (2nd pic below), I was waiting for the the Swedish House Mafia to go on and across the club saw the dancers performing. The lighting was really seedy and the image came out really well.

I would like to thanks Mark, Simon, Amy, Rik, Jason and Dan Tait at Pioneer, Phil and Amy at Planet, Ibiza crew Mel Sutton and  Piers Dupoy who was my wing man on the Island! All the DJs (and management) who were great letting me photograph them and everybody else in Ibiza and the UK that have helped put this together.
